I ALWAYS LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT NEW DENIM BRANDS! ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY COMBINE GENEROUS SILHOUETTES, GREAT DETAILS AND HERITAGE OR WORKWEAR INSPIRATION. PEPPINO PEPPINO IS A PREMIUM DENIM BRAND WHICH IS A “NICHE PREMIUM DENIM LINE DESIGNED FOR WOMEN” THAT TAKES CUES FROM VINTAGE WORKWEAR AND MILITARY UNIFORMS. THE BRAND ARE EXPLORING THE POSSIBILITIES OF DENIM AND CREATING “UNEXPECTED, UNUSUAL SILHOUETTES”. ALL GARMENTS ARE MADE IN ITALY USING CANDIANI AND BERTO FABRICS WITH YKK AND YKK JAPAN FIXTURES.
AT BLUEZONE MUNICH I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO WEAR TWO OUTFITS FROM THIS AMBITIOUS ITALIAN BRAND! I CHOSE TO WEAR THE TYPE 6 USN INSPIRED 1940’S DECK OVERALLS WHICH ARE MADE FROM 12OZ SOFT ITALIAN DENIM. THEY ARE ONE SIZE FITS ALL AND FEATURE WAIST ADJUSTERS AND A MILITARY STYLE POCKET ON THE LEFT LEG, PROVIDING A LOOSE AND RELAXED FIT. THE SECOND OUTFIT WAS MADE UP OF THE TYPE 5 SAILOR INSPIRED SELVEDGE DENIM PANTS AND THE TYPE 7 FRENCH WORKWEAR DENIM CHORE COAT. THE SAILOR PANTS FEATURE A MID-RISE, STRAIGHT LEGS AND HAVE AN AUTHENTIC BUTTON-ROUND FLAP AT THE CROTCH. WHEREAS THE FRENCH WORKWEAR DENIM CHORE COAT FEATURES A FLATTERING A-LINE SILHOUETTE WITH A PETER PAN COLLAR AND PATCH POCKETS. I PAIRED THE OUTFITS WITH PALLADIUM RECYCLED WHITE HIGH TOP SNEAKERS FOR A TRUE HERITAGE VIBE!
