At the start of 2021 I made it a goal to work with brands that make a conscious effort to be transparent about their manufacturing processes and that dedicate time to creating sustainable design solutions.

So meet Aligne; Aligne is a planet friendly fashion brand that’s affordable and accessible. Aligne’s core goal is to create clothes that are timeless, versatile and contemporary, as well as being high quality.

Many of Align’s collections are almost completely sustainable; designs are crafted from sustainable materials including organic cotton, recycled or low-impact materials like vegan leather and responsibly-sourced viscose. Denim is produced with 50 per cent less water compared to many fast fashion brands. It uses organic cotton with no chemical dyes and LENZING ECOVERO viscose. LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose fibers are derived from sustainable wood and pulp. LENZING™ ECOVERO™ uses an eco-responsible production process where fibers have been certified with the EU Ecolabel meeting high environmental standards - meaning it’s much kinder and cleaner to the planet.

The higher the demand for sustainable, ethical clothing, the lower the prices will be, so spread the word, buy responsibly and make considered and informed purchases.
